In huge news in the world of mobile data, all EE's new plans now come with unlimited data. Join EE and never run out of data again. What better way to spread the word than unlimited memes? We created hundreds, and used Instagram's native features to push engagement up to the max.

We then recruited the internet's favourite mad man @realcolinfurze to destroy the 'data limit reached' text, and asked TikTok comedy creator @tommysolemn to explain data limits to future generations, as if they were already a thing of the past.

Results.

This campaign saw really high engagement for EE on TikTok, Instagram and Facebook. We posted variations of each meme as carousels, with a high percentage of viewers swiping through to the final frame. We then shared each frame as stories, adding bespoke stickers and emoji, plus links to click through to the EE mobile webpage. The stickers ensured high engagement on each frame and link clicks were up compared with previous EE content.

We wrote the initial film concepts, with EE's brief in mind. Once the client was on board, we collaborated with content creators who lent their audience and charisma to the films. Below are a couple of screenshots from the original concept decks.
