Lost The Remote.

To launch EETV, we hid the EETV remote. Not down the back of the sofa, but in famous locations across the nation. To turn this into a huge social event, we hid Jamie Laing along with it, and live-streamed the whole thing as a national game of hide and seek. Winner gets free EETV + £1,000.

My job was to help Jamie keep viewers entertained and curious until someone found him. (Would anyone even bother??...??) This meant briefing him with TV talking points, clues, games, riddles, trivia & interview Qs for the winners. And writing all this in a concise, quick-reference cheat-sheet he'd have on his phone the whole time. I also scripted promo posts and oversaw the edit of the wrap film.

We chose our locations to ride the wave of three events that are huge on social: Bruce Springsteen playing Wembley, Edinburgh Fringe, and the Olympics fan zone in Birmingham.

Results.

Streams got up to 18.5k views, with an average of more than 700 people watching concurrently, and 21k engagements. And people actually took the time to figure out where Jamie was, leave whatever they were doing and go out and find him IRL. Great fun for all, and lots of fame for EETV.
